Ilene's passion is softball - always has been. She can often be heard to say, "Softball is my life". In fact, Ilene helped organize this impromtu softball game here at the Parkerosa with some of the other gals. She hit a home run right through the office sunporch window. Startled Del who was in the middle of his afternoon TM session. Rick graciouslly offered to mow some of the lawn to help pay for the damage.
Rick and Ilene's daughter, Lauren, gave Hop Psyng a few pointers on advanced data structures, and helped Del get his email too.
Here's Rick and new baby Isabella inside the wigwam nursery (yes, you can have anything you want here at the Parkerosa - all you have to do is ask for it). Based on the look on Rick's face, I would guess that the baby has just informed him (non-verbally) that it's time for a change. Rick always wanted to stay in a wigwam - maybe because he wore a dunce cap for so many years as a youngster. To contact Rick, Ilene and family, send them an email.
Since moving in, Rick has reported a small fire in their unit. Seems that in an effort to "live the way the Indians do", the other night a small cooking fire was constructed in the middle of the floor of their unit. As Rick fanned the flames of the fire, an ember ignited the curtains and the fire started. The fire left quite a mess which the Puentes have promised to correct. Well, since all their clothes were destroyed in the fire, the Puentes finally have their opportunity to "live the way the Indians do".
